I graduated from the National College of Art & Design Dublin, in 1992 with an honours degree and from there without thought or pause continued on my artistic journey.

From owning and running a successful gallery and art rental business, to exhibiting and selling my work to banks, hotels and businesses as well as privately. It was a very busy and exciting time, so deciding to take a break at that stage was thought by many to be a stupid move but it was something I felt I needed to do. In hindsight it was the best decision I ever made.

Stepping back gave me the time to grow as a person and an artist. I saw and experienced many lives within one and continue to do so. I have translated much of this into my work and have spent decades developing, experimenting and creating my own personal style. Something I could not have achieved in my 20’s or 30’s.
